the east hastings portraits is a project inspired by a godspeed you! black emperor track.
hastings is a street in vancouver and its eastern side has a drug related fame.
therefore it bares a knowledge of something that will soon be lost and forgotten.

if i keep shooting i will always remember that i must not forget.
